Lockbox General Requirements

Lockbox placement on a property requires the procurement and delivery of a mechanical 4-digit lockbox with door handle loop.  

Depending on the lockbox order type, the procurement of this lockbox may be via:

• Direct Shipping to you (48hr lockbox)
• Local Store Reservation (Same Day/Rush Lockbox)

Lockbox Requirements: 

• 4-digit numbers
• Resettable combination
• Door handle mounted

Note: 

Wall-mounted or drill-installed lockboxes are not permitted unless explicitly approved by the team.

On-Site Installation Guidelines

1. Installation Location
   • The lockbox must be installed on the front door knob.
   • Ensure the lockbox is securely attached and properly positioned.
2. Code Setup
   • Set the lockbox to the 4-digit code provided in the order instructions.
   • Verify the code before closing and locking the unit.
3. Keys
   • Ask the seller or occupant if any keys are available.
   • Place all available keys inside the lockbox.
   • If no keys are provided, this must be noted in the completion update.
4. Proof of Installation
   • Photo of Lockbox installed on the front door knob
   • Clear close-up photo showing the lockbox securely in place

Exception Handling

• If no suitable door knob is available
• If installation cannot be completed as instructed

The representative must stop and contact the operations team immediately for further guidance.

Alternate installation methods are not permitted without approval.
