For iPhones with 0.5x option (iPhone 11 & newer)

  1. Open Camera: Launch the built-in Camera app.
  2. Tap 0.5x: At the bottom, you'll see zoom levels like 0.5x, 1x, 2x. Tap 0.5 to switch to the ultra-wide lens.
  3. Precise Zoom: For more control, touch and hold the zoom buttons (e.g., 0.5x) and drag the slider that appears up or down for fine-tuning.
  4. Pinch to Zoom: You can also pinch outwards on the screen to zoom in and pinch inwards to zoom out, which will toggle through the available lenses.

For older iPhones (No 0.5x button)

  1. Switch to Panorama: In the Camera app, swipe left to select PANO.
  2. Rotate to Landscape: Hold your iPhone horizontally (landscape mode).
  3. Shoot: Tap the shutter button and slowly move the phone across, keeping the arrow on the line to capture a wide-angle shot that mimics the 0.5x look.
